Exchange Rate Supplement|
In order to be able to rapidly adapt
to changing circumstances over the period before and after Brexit we
have had to implement an Exchange Rate Supplementary charge.
For purchases from the web shop this charge, in
%, is shown on the header of all pages of the web shop and warns
The web shop shows May 2019 prices for each
individual item and the cost summary
shown on checking out
as well as the email sent at that time shows the sum
of these prices.
On receipt of your order we will manually add
the current % Exchange Supplement before
processing your order and
before creating the invoice. We will then take the credit card
payment including the supplement.
So your Invoice will show the Exchange
supplement and the credit card will show that total.
By accepting COMSOLS Terms and Conditions on checkout you agree to
supplement being levied as described above.
This % will already have been included in quotes from our new price
list(s) starting Sept 2019 which will apply for all non web shop orders.
|Making A Purchase|
It could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
By placing an order on our web site you are accepting these terms and conditions. As part of the checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. We will send you an email order acknowledgement detailing the products you have ordered.
Our acceptance of an order takes place when we dispatch the order and at that point the purchase contract will be made even if your payment has been processed immediately, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order. We may refuse to accept an order (a) where goods are unavailable (b) where we are unable to obtain authorisation on your payment (c) If there has been a pricing or product description error or (d) where our suppliers have not accepted your order.
We accept credit card payment from most places. If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.
We accept Debit cards, Visa and Mastercard. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet. Please note that this is primarily a business to business web site and for sales of £3,000.00 (including VAT) or more, paid for by credit card, a 1.8% surcharge will be added at the checkout stage. If you are an individual consumer ordering that volume of product please contact us for retail conditions before placing your order.
We do not charge for stock items until they are ready to ship. Items that we purchase specifically against your order are not refundable and will be charged at the time we place an order on our suppliers
To be eligible for the promotional discount, orders from customers who do not have a COMSOL credit account must be paid for by credit card, bank transfer or a sterling cheque received by the end of the promotion period. If we are out of stock on any items we will supply it after the deadline giving the promotional discount to any customers that otherwise fulfill the above conditions.

biphenyls (PBB) or polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) within electrical and
electronic equipment (EEE), thereby contributing to the protection of human
