     But what to do with the web site ?  It has taken >12 man years of work to create a repository of knowledge on many aspects of the art and science of embedded microprocessor development and even after closing the shop it still gets over 4,000 visitors per month.  So as a service to my customers I have decide to keep it live providing my technical insights on the products and then redirecting viewers to sites where they can purchase the items they used to buy from us.        The  "Information zone"  consists of articles produced as background tutorials on subjects of interest to those designing new products.  As different CPUs have became available this has lead to new development techniques and in particular to new ways of communicating between nodes.

Unless agreed otherwise in writing and signed by an authorised Computer Solutions Ltd representative, the warranty and support commitments included with the products we sell are as follows:

Licences:

Seat - Keyed to a CPU or installation

User - Single user licence, would need additional licences to use multiple copies

H/W - Hardware, so no restriction on users

Site - May be used by many users at a single site

Module - Software may only be used with a single registered piece of hardware

RTC - Return at customer's expense to COMSOL for an estimate of repair cost

POA - Price on Application

 

Software such as compilers linkers and RTOS may be used to create unlimited numbers of target ROMs with no extra cost with the exception of those marked with * which can only create target ROMs for a single notified product.

Note that many of our suppliers charge a premium to customers who are out of support but who wish to take on a new support contract.
